サッと有名どころは見物できました

明日はアンティークマーケット

大英博物館を見物予定

英語はアプリで何とか進みますが

話せると良いなと痛感です

6月11日から20日まで行ってます

今、滞在先のホテルに着いたところ

時差が8時間、ロンドンの方が遅いです

羽田から出発、直行便で14時間のフライトがどうなるか？

今回は、乗り継ぎ便と悩みましたが

はじめての長時間フライトでトランジェットの心配あり

流石に14時間は長い…

途中「これは辛い」と感じるが何とか耐え忍ぶ

ヒースロー空港から、地下鉄でホテルまで向かう

Googleマップが便利

クレジットカードのタッチ決済で難なくチェクイン

明日に備えて早めに就寝です

【platina red-gold marriage ring】

先日、香港から来店いただき

・SVトライアルリングの郵送

・メールでの打ち合わせ

リングが完成したため、お届けに伺う

とっても温かく迎え入れていただき

本当に感謝です

今回のリングの特徴は

ちょっとボリュームを持たせて厚みをしっかり

ピンクゴールドというより、より赤みを出した金

サイズもしっかり計測

無事に喜んでいただき良かった

リング内径の刻印はシンプルなフォント

レーザーマーキングにて施す

香港と日本では、入籍や結婚式の概念が違うようです

結婚式に弁護士が立ち会うそうです

そこから入籍の届出だとか…

この指輪もその入籍まで着用しないようです

日本は「入籍」「結婚式」ともに自由

当人同士の判断で決める

嬉しいメッセージも届きました

日本語に和訳いただく配慮もあり…

地上102階にある天龍軒、ランチをご馳走になりました

490mという超高層ビル…想像すら出来ません

とっても美味しかったです

その後、お二人に香港観光をいただきました

またリポートさせていただきます

たくさんのお土産まで…

コーヒー、お茶、スィーツ、マグカップなど

本当にびっくりの連続です

日本語に訳された手紙までいただきました

日本を好きでいてくれるお二人

よく来日いただいてるようです

私の考えを理解いただき、今回の制作へ繋がる

配達も喜んでいただけたようです

With Gratitude to Our Guests from Hong Kong

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming guests from Hong Kong to our store.
After sending them a silver trial ring and corresponding via email to fine-tune the details, the ring was finally completed—and I personally delivered it to them.
They welcomed me so warmly, and I’m truly grateful for their kindness.

This custom-made ring features a slightly bold design with a solid thickness.
Rather than a typical pink gold, we crafted it with a deeper red hue to enhance its richness.
We carefully measured the size to ensure a perfect fit.
The engraving on the inner band was kept simple in font, and precisely applied with laser marking.

During our conversations, I learned that the concepts of marriage and registration differ between Hong Kong and Japan.
In Hong Kong, a lawyer is present at the wedding ceremony, which is followed by the official registration process.
I was told that this ring will be kept safe and unworn until that registration day arrives.
In contrast, Japan allows more flexibility—couples can decide when and how to register or hold a ceremony freely.

They also sent me a heartfelt message afterward, with the added thoughtfulness of translating it into Japanese.
I was deeply moved by their gesture.

They graciously treated me to lunch at Tin Lung Heen, a restaurant located on the 102nd floor—an astonishing 490 meters above ground.
It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, both for the view and the exquisite meal.

Afterward, the couple kindly guided me on a tour around Hong Kong.
I’ll be sharing more about that memorable experience in a separate report.

They even gifted me with an abundance of souvenirs—coffee, tea, sweets, mugs, and a handwritten letter thoughtfully translated into Japanese.
I was overwhelmed by their generosity and heartfelt kindness.

They told me they love Japan and have visited many times.
They discovered our store via Google Maps and followed us on social media, learning about my philosophy and approach to jewelry-making.
It led to this very special commission, and I’m happy to hear they were pleased with the hand-delivery as well.

After 20 years of crafting jewelry, it’s moments like these that remind me of the joys this work brings.
This experience was a true gift—a moment of happiness I’ll never forget.
I will continue to devote myself to my craft with sincerity.
